A FREE waste paper collection & recycling
scheme especially for schools ...
The Recycle for Learning scheme is a unique interactive collection, recycling and re-use scheme for schools. It is run by the Apsley Paper Trail charity
as part of its Paper Trail project in Apsley, Hemel Hempstead, the birthplace of paper’s industrial revolution.
The scheme itself is quite simple – in exchange for schools collecting and sorting ‘office waste paper’ (white or coloured A4 and A3 paper, exercise books and old text book pages), Recycle for Learning
will pick up their waste paper for FREE. It is remanufactured into new paper and schools are rewarded for their effort with new recycled paper for use in the school. There is also the opportunity to visit the
Paper Trail project to see recycling in action, learn about 200 years of industrial history and experience other curriculum-based activities.
